The newly formed Beaver Bank Business Association (BBBA) would like to start our first feature of “Focus on Business” by commemorating Beaver Bank Pizza and would like to extend a heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Elias and Lina as they celebrate 20 years of serving Beaver Bank and area.
This Beaver Bank landmark was originally established 29 years ago, opening its doors in February of 1990, but it was not until November 1st 1999 when the young family of Elias Nasrallah and his wife Lina took ownership of the business and for the past 20 years their family grew as Beaver Bank grew and opened the doors to greater opportunities in our community.
In 2011/12 Beaver Bank Pizza received the Business Appreciation Award from the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre (BBKCC) on top of being a regular supporter of the Beaver Bank Auction, Monte Carlo Night, churches, hockey teams, spring fairs and so many other events and groups. For ten years they also provided the pizza at Beaver Bank Monarch Elementary’s hot lunch program and were able to help out with Caudle Park Elementry’s hot lunch program for a year.
When I asked Elias about operating a business in Beaver Bank, he said “the business continues to grow with new people moving into the area and that it just gets better and better every year.” When I asked him what he likes about doing business in Beaver Bank, he stated “it is a special place for over the past 20 years we have relied solely on the word of mouth from our wonderful customers that continue to share their appreciation for our food and our service and when we hear our customers tell us how much they enjoy our food, it validates our hard work.”
Elias also wanted all of Beaver Bank to know that they are thankful for the support and are looking forward to many more years of serving the community.
