Since our launch we have published our website www.beaverbankbusiness.ca and have created a directory of verified business in Beaver Bank was at 123. In our Facebook announcement and launch we received a response of over a thousand people being reached.
I would like to also announce that starting on January 8th between 8:30 and 9:30 at the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre we will hold our first business meet and greet information session sponsored by the Beaver Bank Community Awareness Association (BBCAA) with our guest speakers Caitlin Rowe & Tim Ferguson from the Canada Revenue Agency discussing small business taxes. Hope those in the business community can come and join us. Bring your business cards as we will also have a draw for a door prize.
The Meet and Greets will be held each month with different sponsors and different topic discussed. If you are interested in sponsoring or presenting, you can email us at business@beaverbankbusiness.ca or drop into the office on Thursdays.
